Nurture Right 360 humidity drops rapidly...

I am now using a Nurture Right 360 after 2 unsuccessful hatching attempts with a different incubator. I have a govee hygrometer inside the incubator. They are the same on temp, the govee slightly lower on humidity reading. I have been trying to keep the humidity at 40-45 which it does...until it doesn't. Thete is no steady decline, when it drops it bottoms out quickly to 23-28. I check and add water before I go to work, when I get home and before I go to bed. But it drops quickly like that at random times and I don't know how to keep it steady when I am.away from home. This morning it was at 43%, I topped off the water, my.son checked it at 2:00 it was still at 43%. I got home at 4:45 it was at 23%. The lid has never been removed, it's not cracked and the vent has been half open since I started this run.
Any ideas? Helpful tips??

It’s fine if that happens sometimes. A broody hen gets off the nest and the humidity drops until she returns so it happens even in a natural incubation. Just try to bring it back up when you see it.
