Odd patch in the down?

First time goose mama - is this normal on my 2 1/2 week old? I've never had this with my ducklings, so I'm a bit worried.

I don't have Geese, but if it were a chicken chick, I'd say the patch is around the Uropygial gland or Preening/Oil gland.

Do you see her using her bill to rub the gland and preen, this may be causing some of the down to rub off too.

I'll tag in @BantyChooks and @fowltemptress to see if they have any other suggestions/thoughts.
