Hello!
My 16 yr old Muscovy male is molting again and it is growing back weird! Not sure how I can help?!

Other than that he is off balance but good appetite and stuff so not sure what to do! Looks painful (

Those are feather sheaths that he hasn't groomed off of the new feathers yet. You can probably use your finger nails and kinda pinch (& roll or fluff just slightly) to break them apart and they should fall off (like dander). By that length pictured, they should not have blood supply or truly be painful. You can always exercise caution as you get closer to the base in case there is any blood supply left that close or any discomfort.

Not sure what his current feed routine is.. but a little Rooster Booster (brand) Poultry Cell or Poultry Booster can usually go a long way towards supporting natural immunity and recovery during times of stress such as molting.

Thank you I have some of that and have been giving it to him since I read the post! Any suggestions to help his balance/wing growing improperly? It’s kind of sagging now I’m not sure if I shld tape it up but he has been not walking well :(
