Does anyone currently use the GQF 1202?

This was one of the original incubators that GQF Built. It is usually painted a brick red color, and is made of 3/4 inch plywood, with auto turner, three trays, and a 2 wafer thermostat system....

In any event, they used to come with solid wood doors.

Has anyone ever modified their 1202 and installed a viewing window in the front door?

If so, how did you modify it, and what materials did you use for the window? Glass? Lucite? Acrylic?

Pics would be awesome too!

(I have a chance to buy this one below...)

Hey
frow.gif

From what I understand the 1500 is the same size and everything as the 1202 Just an updated version The plexiglas front should fit as the computer thermostat Everything from the 1500 will fit the 1202 and then you should have a very reliable and very good bator Have fun

Yes I have 1202 with the solid door ,and one with the plexiglass door. For myself not much need for the plexiglass door. Just open when you want to check on eggs, recover temp. and humidity super fast.

Do have extra parts, even a plexiglass door.

Even have the old 800 sportman.
