I’m robbing someone else’s picture because I have both his legs bandaged up and used an antibiotic ointment called mupiricon.

No breakage on skin/scales. He was limping on one leg for a while so I isolated him and fed him full of good food, some vitamins, ACV, and added green/blue mold from oranges to his water.

I let him out and he was doing somewhat better, then went the other leg. He started not to move and would lay in the same spot. This is when I isolated him again and bandaged both leg joints.

What can I do? I’m on an island and there isn’t a vet. I haven’t tried aspirin or meloxicam yet, I don’t think that is going to help except for pain relief. Will start trying 81mg aspirin today but don’t have any muscle relaxers.

I think it’s straight up an infection in both legs. It is too bad I can’t get penicillin or amoxicillin from the feed store anymore.

What more can I do? I am unsure of his age but I’ve had him 3 years. I’m guessing he is around 5-7.

🙁
