I have two, what I think are little boys, who need to find new homes. I have a true Lavender Ameraucana and an F1 Olive Egger (Black Cooper Marans/Black Ameraucana). They're both great personalities. The Olive egger has beautiful thickly feathered feet and huge muffs. The Lavender is a clown and also has beautiful (smaller) muffs.
I'm hoping they can go to a flock where they can add to the breeding program or protect some girls from the dangers of the world.
These are not hatchery chicks, they were purchased as hatching eggs from a local breeder who breeds for egg color and show quality. (She just got a purple/pink egg! It's kind of amazing).

In Roseville also. I had aD'uccle Cockerel that I had to re-home last month. I had to drive five hours to a farm sanctuary in Humbolt County to find him a home. All local shelters and over 20 other farm sanctuaries are full with roosters.

Try posting on the Northern California thread here on BYC. And good luck to you. They are beautiful!
