I currently use an adapted Rubbermaid shed for my coop, and mostly I love it. My favorite thing about a plastic coop is the ability to simply hose the whole thing down every week or two with very little trouble, leaving me with a very clean coop. It would be hard for me to go back to a wooden coop where I'd have trouble getting it truly clean. I am now really pining away to splurge on the Omlet Eglu. I love the rinse it clean factor, and I like the modular run options. I also love the idea that it can be easily moved around the garden., but DANG they are expensive!!! And I have ten chickens, so I think I might actually need an Eglu + the Go to accommodate all 10 chooks. Have any of you taken the plunge and splurged for the Eglu? Any regrets? Would you spend the money again? All input welcome!
