I have heard oregano is a natural way to to keep chickens healthy, but how do I us in their water? Just put it in there water? The fresh? Or will the crushed dried kind from Walmart work? And dose it help for ducks as well?

Hello there, and welcome to Backyard chickens! I do not recommend anything from Walmart, Oregano will grow very quickly and easily, so get some of your own. I make tea out of Oregano, I just pick about 3 big handfuls, crush them a little, and put them in with a quart of water, boil and then steep it to make tea. It is concentrated, so put about 1/2 cup for each gallon. Great for immune boosting. I also use Oregano Essential oil.
