Organic and non-GMO SUPPLIERS

I am five weeks into my first twelve bird flock of barred rock. It has been a blast watching them grow and seeing how much fun my kids are having feeding and watering them.
They are all getting huge now and we are very excited about moving them out to their coop soon and in anticipation to that I have been looking into making my own feed. I have the Joel Salitin recipie from his book but I do not know where to get organic non-GMO ingredients.
If you have ever made your own feed, how did it go? Where can I get ingredients at the best price? Is it worth making my own feed?

I doubt that there is any meaningful difference between Non GMO chicken feed and natural chicken feed. Sorry if you think that I am goring your ox but do the research
yourself then post your findings.
