Painting with chicken feet?

So I bought a canvas and I want to stamp all my chickens footprints (if that’s what they are called) on there with paint, is any paint ok to use or is there a certain paint I need to use so it doesn’t harm them?

Have a pack of baby wipes ready and wipe off each foot right after stamping. Acrylic will probably work the best for this. It won't hurt them at all, as long as they don't eat it.
Beware of breezy days, it will blow every bit of dust and crud into your wet paint foot prints.

This is the final result , I’m really happy with it and each hen/cockerel picked their own colours . I might do another one with just the yellow and the pink feet (my two cockerels) and try and get both of their feet on one canvas if it doesn’t stress them out too much. Overall, this was really fun to make and I recommend doing it
