Hello all, so I have decided to make a duck coop from old pallets as I have some laying around. I’ve never done anything DIY, so this will be my first time. My question is, can I make the ENTIRE thing out of recycled pallet wood? Including the frame and flooring?! I’ve seen many people use timber and plywood For flooring and frame etc but it would be very convenient if I could just make it all from pallet. Thanks

or just have a dirt floor!
Google...PALLET DUCK HOUSE
There are TONS of examples!
Thank you so much! I was planning to take the wood off the pallets and then put them together closely, more work but I Have to keep their little feets safe! I was thinking of maybe putting live grass as The flooring, but I have no idea if thsts okay to do, or if the grass will grow in low light.

You will want to throw straw down for bedding anyway.... and ducks can be way messy, so you will probably end up cleaning it quite often, so make sure you can either hinge the top, or open a wall completely to access the inside for raking out. Make TONS of overhead ventilation... and you got it!
