PDZ sand?

Anybody use Pdz sand for/with bedding for quail? Do you use it with pine shavings or play sand or on its own? How is it with smell, does it extend the life of pine shavings? Does it get clumpy if it gets wet (drippy water bottle or rain)? Thanks!

I use PDZ alot or Stall Fresh, is same product. I really like it. It reduces moisture in sand or shavings. There is no smell to it. I use essential oils for a great smell in my coop. It does not really clump like a cat litter.... It's just the consistency of course sand. Great product.
