Hello. I would like to transition my 7+ week peachick to a chicken run that I ordered from Amazon. It is supposed to keep out all large animals, except snakes. We are in Texas and we get snakes occasionally. While I was told that adult peacocks can take a snake, I was wondering if it would be safe for the peachick to be outdoors in this enclosure. Finally, since I will have to find a new home for this bird in a few weeks, I would be grateful for educated guesses as to whether it is male or female. Knowing its sex would probably help me find the perfect home for him or her. I am heartbroken that I won’t be able to keep him forever
