Ok well there is this neglected turkey that is always at my house she stays there usually all day laying against the cage and then she will go perch on a big log about 30-40 ft away from my peacocks. I feel so bad for her she is always alone and she wants a friend, could I put her in with my peacocks? The only thing I am worried about is somtimes she fights with my male peacock through the wire. Would she hurt him if I pen her with them? She is a female for sure. It breaks my heart looking at her alone on that single log just laying there!

I am not so sure on this, I don't have turkeys, but I have seen a topic were someone showed a picture of some peafowl and poults together. They said when the toms got bigger they killed the peacock and maybe the peahen too? Anyways some say a peacock could take a turkey, some say a turkey can take a peacock, I see both turkeys and peafowl free-ranging around the zoo together but they are not penned together so they don't get into conflicts...If she sometimes fights with your peacock through the wire I might not put her in there...Do you have anything else you could put her with? Could you get like another hen for her or even a gobbler? Just wondering I wonder what other people's ideas on this are.

My turkeys and peacocks free range together and they do fight a little. The peacock teases the tom turkey and they go at it, but the peacock is faster than the tom so he always runs away and the tom can't catch him. It is hilarious to watch, like two clowns.

Now the peahens and the hen turkeys don't even bother each other or the tom or peacock. There usually is a pecking order when you put in something new. I don't think I would take that chance. I wouldn't put my turkeys with my peacocks.

It's a little different adding adults, since the babies tend to more "imprint" on one another. Adults can be really mean when you add them together.

I agree, I added babies and juvenile together, but not adults. They tend to get upset. I would have a mess in the pen if I put my adult peacocks and adult turkey together now.

Well I don't know what happened to her but she doesn't come her anymore. I hear her far away doing that girl gobble thing. Thank you everyone.
