Pet Mute Swan?

I have always wanted a pet mute swan, if raised from a cygnet can they be relatively tame? (I realize it will not be a puppy dog.) Also do they need to be kept in groups or is one okay on its own?

Never raised swan,but have heard many things about them.

Probably can be pet,but their sooooooooooooooooooo mean,worse then geese.

They are seen in pairs so a second one probably would be ideal.

Both my pen and cob I bought as adults, 7 years old. Took no time at all to be pets. They love me, eat from my hand, follow me doing chores and come when called and know their names. They have the bottom 20 acres of our 49 aces with 3 ponds and generally stay on the larger one by the house and in the yard.
