So I have two golden pheasants; a male and a female.
Over the last couple of days, my male has lost seven tail feathers.
Before that he had a very thick tail with many feathers of different lengths, now the poor thing has only one long feather.
Why would he be loosing them? Could he be moulting? Is he unwell? He lives with other birds but I don't think they're plucking him, could they be?
I just hope it's not a big issue, I may be overreacting, any advice would be helpful.
