Does anyone have any experience with Pinless peepers/poultry blinders? I've got a problem hen that's pecked her coopmate practically naked and it'll be getting colder in a couple months. They're in an 8x5 tractor which I think is the crux of the issue. But I can't move them out of that coop at the moment. The plucked hen isn't bleeding or anything just naked. Also the problem hen is kinda picking on the rooster I have with them though he's not near as badly plucked.

Can someone recommend a good brand that isn't too expensive and won't hurt my hen? Or should I try something else?

I adopted 6 x production hens a few years ago and got a feather picker in the bargain.
I purchased peepers that came with the tool to put them on, for about 12 dollars.
My daughter helped me put them on her, and she wore them for about 4 weeks. After that it was like she compleetly forgot about feather picking.

Of course it's pretty pathetic at first. She kept backing up and shaking her head. That lasted a few minutes. I did have to help her get up on the roost for the first few days, but after that she managed it herself. Roost is a 4 foot leap.
My situation is different than yours as my flock free range during the day.
Sounds like you are aware that yours need more room.

Could you tell what type of plastic they're made of or if you could possibly heat them up with a flame to bend them? Just curious in case I need to loosen them to fit right.
