Hey everyone I have a almost 1 year old pekin duck that’s with 6 chickens I recently noticed a sore on top of her wing and missing feathers and inflammation in her back by her tail I brought her and kept her inside for a week she seemed to be getting better but now since I put her back in the coop she’s gotten worse this is what’s going on I’ve attached pics I’d appreciate any help or advise unfortunately I don’t have the funds for a vet visit at the moment thank you 🙏

Hello and welcome to BYC!

I will move this thread to our Emergency forum for more help. It's best to keep ducks in their own enclosure, chickens can be aggressive to other species, along with the different requirements for each.

Welcome to Byc
I’m thinking the chickens are picking on her
Keeping her separated from them permanently would be best
If you can find her a mate or another female as a companion would be much better for her
Keeping the clean and her area you have her in clean so the wound can heal

Yes I agree, not a good idea to leave her with the chickens once they start on a wound they will not stop.
I'd try and find her a friend and a female since drakes don't do well with just one female [over breeding] and give them their own space. Sometimes they can do fine out free ranging with the chickens but not closed up.

:welcome
