Hello! We have a new batch of chicks this year and several of them came from an "assortment" at the feed store. Can anyone tell me what breed these young ladies are?? Thanks!!

Thank you!! I just adore them all, they all have such unique coloring (and personalities)!Age? Where’d you get them? They look to be EEs, except maybe the black one. They’re beautiful
Thank you so much! I checked #3's feet... they are black on top (her legs too) and bone/very light tan on the bottoms.1-likely Olive Egger
2-likely Starlight Green Egger
3-check color of bottoms of feet
4-Black Sex Link
5-Welsummer
So not yellow at all? I assume she just has dirty white skin, which would make Marans a likely breed!Thank you so much! I checked #3's feet... they are black on top (her legs too) and bone/very light tan on the bottoms.
No, off-white is more accurate, not yellow. I wondered if she might be a Maran! I was guessing #5 was a Welsummer too! I also wondered about #2 being an Amberlink but wasn't certain on her. Thank you for helping, I still have much to learn about all the breeds! So not yellow at all? I assume she just has dirty white skin, which would make Marans a likely breed!
You're welcome and good luck! I wouldn't necessarily rule out Amberlink, but I have seen a couple Starlight Green Eggers layers recently that look quite similar, so that's the direction I tookNo, off-white is more accurate, not yellow. We will definitely have a variety! We have 12 chickens total, 2 that are just at laying age (a RIR and a Sapphire Gem) then 10 babies of all types. We let the kids pick them out and have bantam brahmas, silkies, a black polish crested, and the 5 I posted here... it will be a fun summer and a unique basket of eggs on the counter! You're welcome and good luck! You'll have quite the variety I suspect!
