Speedy stole the cherry plum out of my fingers and ate the pit and all. I know the meat of the pit is toxic, will she be alright? I've been checking and I can't find anything on this.
I can NOT lose her, too - please let me know she'll be fine. And what to do.

My chickens and turkeys regularly eat plums, pit and all. The pit normally passes through their digestive tract intact. I have never had any of my poultry exhibit any adverse effects from eating whole plums.

Thank you - I was more worried about the pit getting stuck or something.
I lost Fancy on July 5th due to a dog attack, so I'm back to being paranoid about every little thing that happens to her now.
