We found our Polish like this just now. I often let her free range while we are outside because she’s my favorite. I stupidly forgot that my husband sprayed for bugs about 24 hours earlier.

She had no issues before this. She is on chick feed for the protein. Is it possible this is some nutrient deficiency or is my poor Jadwiga poisoned? What can I do for her? 😢

do you have any oral syringes on hand? they will be useful if your girl is unable to drink fluids on her own. i'll provide some links for administering medication by syringe and how to prepare various flushes. best of luck to you! :fl❤️

Ahhhh I read these articles and found her trachea but I’m still worried I screwed it up. She has crackling breathing. Have I just made it harder for her to recover??

she may be sounding crackly from her head being at a strange angle; if you can, support her head upright while you deliver the flush to avoid her refluxing any fluid. and i would deliver at 10-20ml increments, don't worry too much about the particular dose, just monitor her and try not to overfill her crop to avoid refluxing. if somebody else is with you, it would help to shine a light down her throat to visualize the glottis and confirm you're delivering the flush away from it and down the esophagus
