I have a poult with a very hard crop, he’s about a week old, had to have a bit of assistance due to his mother breaking his egg tooth and beak tip off, but still pushed out of the egg on his own. Has been doing great despite being stunted and a bit… odd looking.
He poops normally and seems full functional, but today his crop was very full feeling, more full than I’ve ever seen before, I feel like it’s totally fine and I’m just over worried, but I just want to make sure the lil guy is ok, as he’s one of my favorites.
They have access to grit and are on Purina Game bird starter 30% protein.
