Predator that collects and piles the bones?

We found a neat little pile of bones of several chickens, chicks and quail that have gone missing, or died over the last several months in the corn field behind our home. My son had also apparently🤨 put a chick that had recently died in his racoon trap and the critter bysteped the trigger and got away with the chick. What collects the bones like that!?

In what region do you live? That could help with identification. But, probably the best way would be trail cam or similar.

The first thing to pop into my head was the homeless person living in the woods lol And, it is possible but I really don't think they would eat it raw. Is there evidence of a fire close by? And, I would respectively disagree that most predators will eat the bone and all. I would say most don't.

I would definitely put up a camera if at all possible. I would also look for some type of den in the area where the bones were found. I also think that some type of Raptor or Owl that is big enough, and the chicken small enough, that it could take it off could possibly eat in the same spot over time.

A picture of the undisturbed bone find would be interesting. I would like to see how neat is neat.
