So my main little flock of chicks are EE's, and as I've said before, I love mutts. But I did want some diversity in my flock, so I got some Barred Rock chicks last week to add a bit of color. Like many people, I constantly take pics of the chicks to document their growth. But last week the camera in my phone was damaged, so I've been asking my kids to take pics to send to me so I can still keep track. And my camera breaking might've been the luckiest setback I've had in a while. My oldest daughter didn't just do what I do (walk in coop, point camera straight down, click), she actually staged photos for me. And I must say, my Pretty Girl (that's her name) really showed her stuff in this photo. Suffice to say, when I can find a shop open to repair my camera, I'll be rethinking how I photograph my girls in the future. Hope you all enjoy!

My friend's teenagers did a photoshoot for my chicks, and I had similiar results...some of the best chick pics I've ever had! Geat shot!

My daughter is 18, and she just approached it with a completely different eye. I was very impressed, and very grateful she took the time to take these photos.

My friends daughters were 15 at the time, but had a decent camera, (they're pretty arty.) Sounds like your daughter now has a part time gig to add to her resume "Professional Poultry Photographer" or maybe just "Photographer". Either way, I hope she keeps taking adorable shots like this one for you, or teaches an 'old' dog some new tricks! ;-) Hehehe.
