I had posted a thread earlier and everyone had said the two black ones were pullets and the two mixed colour ones are cockerels. I am not so sure about one of the black ones and was asking for your opinion. (The black one with the large tail is a hen)

Other thread for reference. Hard to disagree with the responses in your other inquiry but can you see any hackle feathers coming in on the one you're questioning? Kind of hard to tell. Or try to get a better headshot of that one you're in doubt about?

Thank you. It’s currently night and they are all snuggled up and don’t want to disturb them but will try in the morning, if you would like to know then?

I am not good at other breeds as I only raise silkies, except that there are obvious signs that make other breeds much easier to sex. I was hoping someone more knowledgeable would be able to help you identify that one with better pictures.

It’s a little early, but I’m thinking pullet for both black ones. Just to be sure, the black chick sitting next to the brown hen is the one in question, correct? That one looks like a pullet.

I would upload pictures but it is not letting me. I have been thinking it was a cockeral because it has been standing up tall and its feet are massive compared to the hen chick.

Yes, correct, the one sitting next to the brown is in question. I was thinking it was a pullet until it started standing up tall and sticking its chest out, and also the feet are larger then the chick i think is a hen.

I'm not sure how you got the others in, but you could try putting them in the gallery and see if that works, then paste the link back.
