I have an Olive Egger that is a cross between Cream Leg Bar and Black Copper Maran.

We got her about 2 weeks ago and she integrated nicely. But as of 2 days ago, she seems to be limping and falling over when she tries to walk. Can't walk up the ramp into the coop at night so I've been lifting her in there. She eats and drinks fine, but her walking is alarming.

What could it be? I checked the bottom of her feet and it looked fine, no bumble foot or anything.

I can send a video of her walking if you'd like...

HELP!

Have you seen any blood in their poop? How is she breathing? She looks weak and unbalanced. What does her crop feel like-hard, squishy, full, empty? Is it empty first thing in the morning? What feed is she getting-brand and type (grower, medicated, etc)? I think the first thing I'd do at her age is treat them all for coccidiosis. Get some Corid and put it in their water and NO other water source. 1 1/2 teaspoons per gallon for 5 days for severe followed by 1/3 t per gal for 5 days. After this you'll want to add vitamins like Rooster Booster to their water for a few days. This has thiamine in it, which you need to replace as Corid blocks thiamine - which is how it kills the protozoa.

I have not seen any blood in her poop yet. She seems lethargic and unbalanced for sure. Her crop feels like a bean bag, i know she's eaten because i fed her and i also gave her some water with electrolytes. She'll be fine but then go lay down, the others will come and lay with her. when one of the others gets up to go do something, she'll perk up and watch them but not get up.

we have 4 hens, she's the youngest.

She looks pretty miserable. Any chance she got into something rotting or some spoiled food? I'd still give her vitamins right away. Poly Vi Sol with NO iron is a good choice and easy to find at Walgreens or CVS. 3 or 4 drops a day for a few days and see if that helps.
