Pumpkin guts for ducks?

They eat melon, any reason not to give them pumpkin scoopings? Ill soon be making lots of pumpkin pie, and of course jack-o-lanterns, is there any reason i cant give them the scoopings ? Or perhaps the odds and ends from the trimmings?
