Pyrethrum daisies

Ever wondered where the pyrethrum spray came from? Yep daisies. That pungent smell when you squash it between your fingers is what kills mites, lice. I have it planted in pots around my coop. I also dry it and scatter them in the coop, nests, and run keeps them bugs away.

Does anyone else do this? I’m considering planting this type of daisies against the chicken run.
