how do i tell the gender and breed and how old my duckling is olz help me also what do i need to keep him healthy and safe

That little fuzz ball looks so cute!

It looks like a rouen duck, but the gender will not become apparent until Darwin is about 5 weeks old (the sound of the quack is different between males and females) and the feathers start coming in.

Is Darwin your only duck? They can grow up very lonely if they are the only duck. Two ducks minimum, preferably three, if you want them to be happy. I would highly recommend getting another duck or two.

What kind of housing do you have?

Definitely needs another buddy to bond with. Ducks are very social.

I agree that it looks like a Rouen and it needs a duck buddy. Guessing it's about 2 weeks old.
