I bought two Orpington pullets a couple weeks ago, the chocolate Orpington (not pictured) is definitely a pullet, but I am suspicious that the black Orpington is a cockerel. Any thoughts on the black Orpington’s gender?
They are 8 weeks old.
I may be overthinking it, I think I’m overly worried because we already have a resident rooster and not enough hens for another rooster.

Comb seems a but pinker than I'd expect to see on a pullet that age, so I'll go with a roo as well.

lol I chuckle at the stubby tail, it’s very cute!
I want to hold out hope, but it’s not looking good lol.
These Orpington “pullets” are not cheap!

This is 1 of my chocolates, I was so sure was a roo cause he walked like this and had a little stubby tail. Now he looks much more like a she, but these orpingtons, so hard to tell.
