I have 4 call ducks. Peanut Butter is 7 weeks old, and I'm pretty sure is a female. She's very loud! I've had her since she was hatched and she's very tame. If I get out of her sight, she will quack for me. The other 3 are about 3 or 4 months old. I just got them a few weeks ago, and they are not tame yet. Two (Frederick Duckless and Rudyard Duckling) have developed curly tails, so I am pretty sure they are male. The 3rd one (Cookie) is a bit smaller, and does not have the curly tail feather, but it is also pretty quiet. Sounds very much like the boys, and not at all like Peanut Butter. Could this just be a quiet female? Or a male with a straight tail? These are the first ducks I've ever had, so any help/advice is much appreciated!
