I'm in Eastern Ontario, Canada. I have recently been invaded by wild Eastern Cotton Tail Rabbits. They are living under my coops, within an old rock wall, and under trees in my wooded area. There is no evidence that they are actually getting into the coops or runs. No food or water is available for them. They are unafraid of my dog or I, and are hopping around even when we are out.
Cute as they are, I would like them to move on, especially given that 2 rabbits become many more rabbits. My concern is that they will attract predators. One was recently taken by an Barred Owl, but there is also fox and coyotes in the area.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
