Red Berries on Asparagus

This my first posting.and I'm sorry that it's a warning. Those of us that are backyard farmers and grow asparagus should know the those pretty red berries on the female plants are poisonous. I just learned this, and though I would share it.

It sounds like, from the article, that they are only poisonous to people who already may have reactions to asparagus. However, I'm more interested in whether or not they are poisonous to chickens
