I have several 7-month old Red Bourbon turkeys including one tom and also a half dozen BBW hens the same age who just started laying in early October. They're slated for processing this next weekend or maybe next if the weather cooperates. We're considering an attempt to incubate a dozen or so eggs, seeing as the tom is enthusiastic in mating them and they're accepting of his attention.

If they're fertile and we get a hatch, what can we expect from them as far as body type and coloring are concerned.

The Red Bourbon hens aren't laying yet, just clarifying that the BBWs are. And I checked my spreadsheets and the BBWs were bought on 4/2 while the RBs hatched on 4/26.

The calculator shows Red Bronze as the result from a Bourbon Red and White cross. That is what I got from that cross. It is possible that other results are possible since the recessive whites mask all the other colors.

The body was in between BB and heritage in size.
