Hi All,
I have two lovely 5 year old hens (approaching 6 this August) that need rehoming rather quickly. Unfortunately, my family and I will be moving and are unable to take our girls with us
. I really would like to find a loving home for them in the area where they can live their lives happily.
Since they are a bit older, they don't lay eggs as much. Buk Choy (the speckled sussex) still lays once every few days when the weather is warm, but Squooky (the barred rock) no longer lays eggs. Both are very sweet, love following us around for treats, and have absolutely adorable vocalisations!
I have attached two short videos of Squooky and Buk Choy so you can see how they are! One of the videos has Squooky with a bandage on her foot as we were treating her for bumblefoot.
