Use it to keep chickens out of the garden. Other than that, no. Raccoons eat that nonsense for breakfast.Assuming that every single person who said chicken wire wasn't safe was wrong because it's literally called CHICKEN WIRE! yeah. its for keeping chickens in, and absolutely nothing out![]()
OUCH!Advice I got: you should add pool noodles to the coorigated roofing so you don't hit your head.
I'll get my stitches out next week....
They definitely can be. It's always safer to have a rooster around duck hens then a drake around chicken hens since they can kill chickens by matingI waffle on this one . . . a friend told me I should get ducks since my yard gets wet/muddy but I heard drakes are very "rapey" so I opted for chickens instead. . . .
I haven't witnessed chickens or ducks mate . . .so IDK yet
Ok, so I have "dumb" question . . .do ducks lay eggs without mating? I know several species of birds do . . just not sure which do and which don't.They definitely can be. It's always safer to have a rooster around duck hens then a drake around chicken hens since they can kill chickens by mating
