By her comb how can I tell how close she is to laying she doesn’t squat so I know she isn’t already but can you tell from her comb how close she is. She is my first RIR

She is 30 weeks old how does she still have another 2-3 months? What is the normal laying timeframe for RIR?
Not sure where you are in the world, but shorter daylight hours will affect when she starts laying. They need about 14/16 hours of daylight a day for them to regularly lay, which she probably isn’t getting.

This article shows how to see when they will start laying by looking at their pelvic bone: Here !

She eats I mix layer pellets and bird mix layer alternating and lots of scraps from our kitchen
Bird mix as in bird seed? Cut out the bird seed. If it's basic 16% layer, it's barely adequate nutrition and mixing a bunch of seed in there takes barely adequate nutrition, makes it inadequate nutrition.
