This is Toxie, she’s a pretty freaking awesome chicken. I bought her when I started my chicken adventure. Wilco told me she was a gold sex link back in 2019. I never really questioned it, when my friend got chickens I suggested the breed, she got three and they grew up to be strawberry blonde, but Toxie has pretty much been a red girl after adolescence. So what do the chicken experts think her breed is?

I’ll also include her tinder profile highlights:
Leader of the pack of 7 other culturally diverse girls, started laying at 16 weeks, spent her first year making an egg everyday. Than at 1.5 started laying soft shells. Hasn’t laid at all in like - year. Despite her early onset menopause she still sports a full red comb and healthy appetite and energy level. Not exposed to artificial light, friendly and wise, loves a good bath and blow dry. Likes to play games like pick up that rock and I’ll find the worms. Enjoys tomatoes, but not spaghetti squash. Expert at giving the side eye and will steal your string cheese right out your hand. Doesn’t respond to the ploy of meal worm shaking, because she most likely in the shed eating directly out the bag.

Attached are pics of her as baby and recently

Toxie does have some dark booty feathers. I’m hoping for RIR, because they seem to have less health problems. Also Wilco has given me the switch and bait other times.. I’ve gotten a rooster and whatever this bird is…anxiety filled chicken without a butt that lays blue eggs. I call her fizzgig… but she’s not what I was expecting…pretty sure she’s not a Sussex

She's an EE. Weird tail for sure.

She sorta looks like she's in pain. But I don't know if that's just me...

Yeah EE are random mixes of Americana and Araucana however she wasn’t really sold as either. Sometimes Wilco effs up which is why I question RIR or GSL
Wilco EEs are sourced from Privett Hatchery...their stock is EE mutt all the way back. Her tail sure it weird though. Does she ever have it up?
