My bantam roosters nostrils are blocked and his comb is very dark. I read on here about cleaning out the nostrils and doing it a little at a time so I am doing that. I sprayed/misted saline solution into his nostrils and got a little bit out but still working on it. I opened his mouth and saw some small yellow bumps on the top of it. Could this be sinus cankers? I have never seen this before and not sure what to do. Can someone please help me on how to treat this and what it is?
Thanks

I can’t get pictures to post help?on iphone
Photos would help.

Is there a bad odor?

Canker comes to mind, if that's the case, then Metronidazole or Acidified Copper sulfate are the treatment options.

For the nostrils, you can apply warm compresses to see if that helps loosen and soften up the material.

He has a bit of facial swelling, have you ever had respiratory illness within your flock in the past?

I'd see if I'd could clear the nostrils, work on that slowly. Since there's no odor, it may be yeast infection or respiratory infection, hard to know. Is his crop emptying?

His crop is emptying and no smell. No issues with respiratory. I took out one time a piece of crud that was in his nostril in one swoop with my thumbnail and he was breathing fine after that. This is down in there and not a clump. I’ve been working on it a few days. I will try the compress. I was going to see about giving him some nyastin powder mixed up tonight but I thought I would Che k on here first. He is almost 9 years old. He might be a little puffy since I’ve been working on him. It also seems like a little piece of his comb has a little flap that hangs over it, it’s like a tiny thin piece of skin that kind of covers it ok on one side. Do you think Nyastin would be a good idea to give him?
Thanks for your help.

He's an old fella!

You can try the Nystatin, if the crud is yeast/fungal, then it should help.
