Roost bars?

Hello, we are first time chicken hoarders (I mean owners, lol) and I have a serious question: we have an assortment of chicks Wyandottes, Australorps, and Jersey Giants. We are converting a shed into a coop and we have enough space for them both in the coop and in the run but i am reading about concerns of roosting bars being too high for Jersey Giants. The theory i am reading is that because they are so large they may injure their poor little legs more easily.

Our roosting bars are about 32 inches high with a s**t shelf under them so we have storage or a brooding area for down the road. Is this so high that it would cause injury to our chicks? I must mention we will also be building a ramp ip to the roosting area as well. Any thoughts or recommendations for us? I have to stress these birds are going to be beloved pets that happen to give the treat of breakfast!
