We have 2 large roosters (Olive egger is head roo, and Orpington is usually second in charge) in our flock and a few silkie roosters. For the most part, they've gotten along. A couple days ago, my Orpington and the biggest silkie rooster got into a big fight and they were both bloodied and beaten up when I broke them up, although my Orpington seems to have taken the brunt of it. I separated them from the rest for the day in cages, then cleaned them up and put them back, where they immediately started fighting again, and the other silkie roosters kept getting in the middle trying to break it up. So, I removed the 2 silkies that were causing the fights and put them in their own little coop and everyone seemed to be fine again, so they're separated and I'm trying to find them new homes.

I noticed in the cage that the Orpington was in, there was some greenish poop. He's now roosting alone, away from the other chickens at night, and his voice is higher pitched and a bit strangled sounding. He's acting a bit less aggressive towards us than he has been in the past month or so (spring hormones), but otherwise seems to be pretty normal acting. I've seen him eating and drinking. I found this weird poop with chunks in the coop today near where he'd been roosting. I can't be sure that it's his, but I think it must be. Any ideas what's going on? Is this caused by the fighting, or is this maybe why they were fighting him? Because he's weak?

It's due to stress after the fight. They tend to eat less, or not all for a day, or two. Give him Vitamin, & Electrolytes, & Probiotics.
