Hello! I’m not sure why this happens but when one of my roosters leave the yard and comes back my other rooster gets mad at him and they fight. Usually it lasts only a few minutes of me separating them and they go back to normal. Yesterday, the one rooster got out of the yard and I got him back and put him back with the flock.. they went back and forth for a few but I thought it would end today. I didn’t even think to check on them until my toddler comes running in saying the chickens mouth was bleeding.. I have now put the injured rooster separate from the flock but wondering if I should be worried about the injured chicken?

I also want to add.. his eye is swollen now too.. I have antibiotic cream here.. should I put that on it?

Is is eye plucked out??! I thought it was just swollen when I first seen it
wow, it may be. maybe Flush and clean out the eye with saline, and get him cleaned up, i would keep him separated and check for other injuries, keep us updated
Exactly what I was going to say! When you clean him up send pictures so we can see if he has anything wrong besides for blood.
