Rooster eye injury

Hello!

Yesterday two of my roosters got into it and one ended up with an eye injury. He’s acting normal, crowing, perching and still dancing for his ladies. I plan to take him to the vet once I’m off of work but is there anything I can do for him in the meantime? The first picture is how it looked after it happened, the second picture is how it looks this morning. Thanks in advance for all your help!

I'd flush and clean the eye out with Saline, then put an ointment like Terramycin in the eye. Do this a couple of times a day until the eye heals up.
