Rooster keeping hen out of coopnat night

I am not there, and not seeing what is happening, but I am wondering if the bird outside, just like roosting on something up off the ground. Most chickens like to roost, (I think the silkies are the exception).
She's only really been doing it around the time to go in. But I was thinking that too.

I do have a question kind of off topic. I noticed she has some skin kind of showing on both shoulders? The top of the wings. Could that be her being picked on or could that possibly be the rooster being to rough with her for a lack of better word (I can try to take a picture later when I can grab her otherwise it's hard to see)

In the beginning I tried the aprons, which they hated. What I have found is barebacks bother people way more than they bother chickens.

Do watch their interactions. If she hangs on his every cluck, it is not a problem, if she hides and runs from him, it is a problem and you need to separate them.
