Rouen vs Khaki Campbell

I have two Rouens that I got. Then two Khaki campbells (I think) that I got the very next day. So, it's not like I had the first two so much longer. The Rouens love me. They will waddle out of their cage and up in my lap or hand. The khaki's on the other hand, one will come up to me when the other two do. But run away if I move. The other one will not come near me for anything. (Unless I have snacks then she will come near enough to eat what the other three fling ) Are khaki's more anti social or did I just get lucky to get two ducks that love me and two that don't?

They are so pretty! I'm trying to handle and play with them as much as I can but I also don't want to give them heart attacks. Hopefully she will come around eventually. For the most part they all follow the dark Rouen's lead and she is my buddy. So, fingers crossed

spend lots of time with them and give them all individual attention, mine follow me like little puppies and think they are humans

X2. It can depend on the personalities of those living around them, and also by whether they were personally hatched out or hatchery hatched out. Hatchery chicks/ducks are often more frightened and not as friendly as ducks who were with the owners from the start of incubation

i didn’t hatch any of my ducks but they are still super friendly! i actually just did an interview about how great of pets ducks are!
