It's a secret that has been kept for many, many years. It would never have escaped the clutches of its keepers if the War had not come to the Border Realm. The Lands of Dreams and of Nightmares have battled for control of the Border Realm - Earth - for millennia.
Whether it's planning something diabolical or sparking fights with the Dreams, you're sure to find the Nightmares occupied with malevolence. You're equally certain to observe the Dreams involved in good deeds. Well, most of the time. And for once, it doesn't seem like the fight between good and evil is as unbalance as you might like to believe. If it was, the War wouldn't have lasted as long as it has. Besides, the lines between good and evil are blurred. You'll find generous Nightmares... and feuding Dreams.
Each Dream or Nightmare has his or her own specialty, and multiple powers that link to this. Look at my forms if this doesn't make sense. All of them have the ability to teleport to some extent, and are almost immortal. However, their powers can be drained by injuries. When this happens the Dream or Nightmare gets what is known as Nullism - an extreme lack of powers. Nullists are typically slightly translucent, have very slight powers and tend to be slaves for the powerful Dreams or Nightmares. Nullism is the only way a Dream or Nightmare can die before reaching their full average lifespan of 10,000 years. Because of the risk of this illness, Dreams or Nightmares with healing powers are often very powerful and wealthy, i.e. to heal injuries before the powers have been totally drained. Those who are born with Nullism can't be healed.
