Rubber bowls - Safe?

Hello everyone!

I've been using black rubber bowls for my chickens, ducks, turkeys, sheep, and barn cats for years. I just saw that there is a possibility of lead leaching from these. Is this for real or just click bait? Let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

If you’re referring to the BYC thread on this, it was debunked after the OP retested and found experimental error.

I was referring to this and hoping that there wasn't merit to it. I know folks in the thread were asking other people or a university to run tests. I was wondering if anyone ever did or if anything else ever came up.
