Runner duck color questions

I'm having a somewhat confused understanding of color breeding.
Right now my 1st pure runner eggs are ready to be incubated.

Mom is a black, and 2 possible dad's.
1 is a pure blue
And the 2nd dad is a blue and white penciled.

I know if I breed a black male and a blue female I have a 50/50 chance of getting blues or blacks.

Is this the same with the opposite gender of ducks?
Also, would it be possible to sex by color?

It is the same, 50-50. It is not a sex-linked trait though. So, both genders would look the same.
