Russian olives?

Just wondering if anyone knows if there is anything to be made with russian olives? Our new place has a lot of Russian olive trees and we would love to be able to use the fruit, which I hear is edible.

I googled it and found this website. Sounds llike they are edible. Wish I had some, although they are listed as an invasive species also, but then, what isn't!

They are invasive, but I kind of like how they look. I think the link referes to a different tree though, Elaeagnus angustifolia is its latin name
