My Pumpkin is survivor out of five from the shipping and a bad business company. The shipping is not a reason for four’s death. Many people have same issue as mine. More likely inbred.
I tried save three of them. They seem gotten better then suddenly a surprise death in next two days. Only one left is Pumpkin. I was scared to bond to her because she is still fragile and smaller than the blue copper marans chicks, they were near same age from the different company.
Then I ordered same kind breed, Russian orloff from near me. All are very healthy and thrive.
Left was only one survivor, right was order different small business, all five grew up healthy.
Pumpkin have very goofy personality compare to other chickens. She is very jumpy too but attention seeker as well.
